British Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix was an interesting affair, starting in drying conditions with intermediate tyres, with half the track wet and half the track dry. With Vettel being so expensive – and not winning – the Red Bull driver was a costly mistake to pick, and Alonso was the key man to bring in the points this week. Only one person who didn’t pick Alonso scored, and only one who didn’t pick Alonso did score!

ferrari_fuhrer shares victory for the second time this season, with schumistar, who makes her first appearance on the podium. martin_d continues his recent run of form to come in third after the tie-break, whilst our newest entrant, icthyes (the sole Valiant Virgin) takes fourth place at the first attempt, with an unusual thirteen-car pick set. The risk paid off, this time…

Facts and stats coming up:

  • The best combination of picks was 71, by picking everyone in the top ten bar Hamilton and Vettel;
  • 16 out of 17 people picked Lewis Hamilton;
  • Only one person picked Jaime Alguersuari;
  • The most valuable pick was Sergio Perez (6.00), although Massa (2.78) was a decent pick too.
